Don't even consider a holiday to this hotel unless you want to be kept awake by the nearby church bell chiming on the hour and every quarter (4.30 am would mean 4 clangs for the hour and 2 more for the 30 minutes!). The food in the restaurant is awful, can I reccomend the restaurant down by the beach Tic0 Tico...
The air conditioning is turned off from the end of August! rooms are worn and shabby and the towels are like table cloths, the ones we were provided with on several occasions were holed. You can almost have a conversation with the people in the adjoining rooms as the walls are so thin. Staff are abrupt and arrogant.
The hotel is not even walking distance to any shops or bars so you will be effectively captive unless you take a bus into Sorrent 25 minutes journey..The location is totally unsuitable for anyone who is not physically fit as it is at the top of a hill..
We went on this so called Italy taster with Travelscope .... big mistake... our guide had little or no knowledge of the area or what to do in it.. all in all one of the most dissapointing holidays we have ever taken
