Trip was for a group of friends on holiday. Sarah Caulfield would maybe visit again.
| We stayed at the Crown Resort Horizon Hotel in Coral Bay in January 2006. We visited Paphos once by bus, (buses run regularly and are resonable priced,) the second time we hired a car and drove in, the layout of the road is easy to follow but the drivers are a bit mad, you have to drive with the same mentality as them!!!
Paphos Harbour is clean and there are various bars and restaurants and the prices vary lots. The harbour is very pretty and you do have some familiar shops such as McDonalds, Next and Debenhams although I don't think our Debenhams sell pork chops or goats meat!
I would recommend NOT staying in Paphos if you want a quiet holiday, the Coral Bay area was fantastic with a beautiful beach, enough shops selling trinkets, souveniers, newspapers, food etc and adequate bars and restaurants but not too packed. |
