Paradise Park: Be careful by Olga Dorokhina |
| Posted 17 July 2008 about a visit in June 2008 | Overall rating: 8.3 |
The hotel was very pleasant.
But: at the day of checking out we quited our room at 12.00 and have free time before flight (at 20.20), we checked passports, tickers and money to the reception-s safe. When we returned at 17.00, the documents had disappeared. Nobody stealed then except stuff. And nowadays all the week I'm waiting their answers, but they don-t think about their reputation. They keep silence, escape of the answer
They have many problems of stuff' selection. Their level doesnt' fall short of 4 stars.
The client wouldn't worry about values registered at the department of the hotel.
And the boss is not in a hurry to offset a disadventage and moral damage.
Please, be careful and attentive booking the room at Paradise Park

I agree with the other reviews.
We stayed here November 2001 in the apartments.
Cannot fault the place. clean tidy well run and friendly.
it lives up to its 4 star billing.
It is a little out of the way, but that insures a good night sleep.
A ten or fifteen minute walk gets you to the beach or town centre, nearly all down hill. My advice..walk down, Taxi back, there cheap enough.
If choosing this complex, you won't be disappointed.
If self catering, there are some handy restaurants above the hotel, and in the town centre.
If using the courtesy bus !!!, be prepared to fight, as some foreigners don't like to queue.
Its a thirteen seater mini bus, and runs every half hour.

Paradise Park: May 2002 by Roger Watson |

Good hotel which deserves 4 star status. Rooms are small but clean with A/C and TV with Sky news and Eurosport. General appearance is airy and bright.
Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of variety(diet starts here!). However, we ate in buffet restaurant on first night and was not impressed with food, which was dry and fatty(maybe a bad night)
Thereafter we ate in the A La Carte restaurant, which cost an extra 9 euros, but we did receive a bottle of water each + a bottle of wine to share. Meals were individually prepared by chef and were always good/excellent. Entertainment was also provided by an excellent singer/guitarist, so was a nice relaxed atmosphere.
There was also varied entertainment in a ground floor bar, although it did not start until 11:00pm, and due to design of hotel, music/microphone could be heard throughout hotel until it finished at approx. 2-2:30am.
There were 3 nice pools, one of which was on rooftop for adults only.
In a quiet, if elevated situation, a 20min. walk from Los Christianos centre. A courtesy bus was available every 1/2 hour if you didn't fancy the walk.
Plenty of bars/restaurants in L.C, but most shooping was of tourist variety.
Nice walk along beach front to PDLA, but this is where time share touts operate. Not as bad as I had imagined, however, a firm NO and they tended to go to someone else.
All in all, a very pleasant holiday in a nice hotel
Roger

Paradise Park: Worth a visit!! by Suez |

Lovely hotel, good size apartments. Even though a little away from the town, do not let that put you off.
Security was good and pools were nice.. especially the adult only pool!.
