We visited these apartments in the last week of the summer holidays - myself and a friend. Clientel are mainly English but there were also some spanish - well they say when abroad do what the locals do! Mostly JMC passengers but we booked thorugh Sky Hols and it was remarkable the difference between the information provided to JMC clients and us. I found the lack of street lightening to Faro 2 quite disturbing especially with all the local building works and local wide life! Overall I think in another 5 or 10 years maspalomas will be a rather busy resort. I'm nor sure what I expected but I also found the range of food at Faro 2 too cosmopolitan! The restaurant on site was not open and the snack bar was nothing special. We ate there before a night flight home!
Holiday Highlights - Fresh Croissant in the on-site shop every morning - so fresh the butter was still dripping! - opens @ 8am.
For the adults: Try Banana Bar's range of cocktails
Beware - as usual the on-site shop is expensive for essentials such as water. Better to shop at the large suppermarket on the groundfloor of Faro 2 - opposite Crazy golf!
