Parque de la Paz: Fantastic by Susan Lea |
| Posted 28 June 2008 about a visit in June 2008 | Overall rating: 9.9 |
Hi, just returned from Parque de la paz with my husband and 2 children(5 and 3 years old) with us my sister and husband and there 2 kids(7 and 5 years old), fantastic time kids had a great time meeting new friends, had no problems with sunbeds worth while getting a cushion for sunbed only 1.20 euros for the day. Pool area very clean overall cleanliness was excellant. Entainment with Cara and Bobby very good kids club 1-2pm they really liked going, evening entainment again with Cara and Bobby good shows they try very had and were really friendly.
We definitely will return to this hotel we booked breakfast for our stay and could not fault them you could eat and drink what you liked and as much as you liked. Great restaurants and bars round corner from hotel recommend the irish bar and chinese next door to it. Hotel in ideal position rooms very spacious with double balcony if possible request pool view. Can not wait to return.

Parque de la Paz: Get a sunbed ...yer jokin by Arthur Jones |
| Posted 12 October 2006 about a visit in September 2006 | Overall rating: 9.0 |
We spent 2 happy weeks in the Parque De La Paz last year with no complaints whatsoever, this year was a complete reversal...
1) If you dont get your towel on the floor before 8.00am you cant get a sunbed space.
2) The cleaner on our floor (room 306) only did what you could see,in fact because we slept on top of the sheets she never changed then for our two week stay, but she was a love and changed the pillow cases after 12 days..
3) The drains in 306 (3rd floor) stank first thing in the morning ..in fact I thought the smell was the wife and she thought it was me...
4) The towels stunk of sweaty feet ... they really did pong..
5) Cara the entertainer tried her best but some of the entertainers she booked really were terrible would not have got past round 1 of X Factor. While her and her Bobby creamed off the top the money for the entertainment... Shame on you ...

Parque de la Paz: Good basiic accomodation in great central area by R&I Hunter |
| Posted 26 March 2006 about a visit in October 2005 | Overall rating: 8.1 |
Picked these apartments as we are regular visitors to Tenerife and much prefer this area of las Americas. The apartments were roomy and clean if basic and the staff were very friendly, maid service every day. The pool area was big and always seemed to be busy although this didn't matter to us as we tend to go out and about and do our own thing. (Sad old fogies)
Kids seemed to be well catered for with a young lady called Cara keeping them entertained during the day. She also runs the evening entertainment acting as host as well as doing various turns.Quite talented lady.We stayed back on a couple of occasions to see 'Rod Stewart' and (a dodgy) 'Elvis' and even enjoyed the bingo. Also we found the Thursday evening barbeque well worth it
We were half board and found the food to be o.k. but nothing special. The main complaint we had was that although the staff were friendly and helpful they always seemed to be at least two waiters short so that at busy times queues formed and the natives started to get restless. One good point was if you liked bacon and eggs at breakfast time they were cooked on a hot-plate in front of you not lying in a tray in a couple of inches of grease.
These apartments are superbly situated with lots of bars, restaurants, shops and the beach literally a matter of yards away. One point, we were given an apartment facing the road which could be a bit noisy if you were in during the day. Try for a pool view or at least away from the road.
In conclusion we found the Parque de la Paz to be good value for money for a 3* Apart/Hotel and would be glad to use it again.

Parque de la Paz: Good central base for las americas by Diane Hanson 1 |
| Posted 17 January 2006 about a visit in July 2005 | Overall rating: 8.0 |
My husband, our son aged 10 and myself stayed at this hotel. The pool area is clean but very crowded. We were wakened every morning by the sound of people waiting for the sun beds to be put out. It was madness. not enough beds for the number of people the hotel accommodates. We spent most days at the beach avoiding the rush.
The rooms however were basic but comfortable and clean. Maid service was very good, the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
We only ate a couple of times at the poolside but the food was good.
The central location made it perfect for us, it was out 7th year in tenerife and we would stay there again, but probably would avoid the pool as it was too noisy and too full.
Also I have to say we didn't stay on the site at night as the entertainer seemed to be aiming her act at the younger children who did find her very funny.
All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Parque de la Paz: A BRILLIANT PLACE TO GO by Jason Bevan |
| Posted 10 July 2005 about a visit in May 2005 | Overall rating: 10.0 |
Hi to anyone reading this i went to PARQUE DE LA PAZ on 24/06/2005 - 02/07/2005 and personally i thought i was a fab place the appartments are ok apart from the odd cockroach here and there, i was expecting a bigger pool but it was ok and everyone seemed to like it. The restaurant is great they provide a different selection of food every day and if you do not wish to eat there then there are plenty of place's to go that are not even a 20 min walk from the resort. All of the staff are kind if you can understand what they are saying but most of all they are very caring, the entertainment is excellent especially for the kids i personally think the entertainer is the best she is funny and has been doing it for a few years i think she said her name is Cara and she dose different things like dressing up as cher and madonna and doing tributes to them and she also has different acts on through the week they have a barbeque every Thursday night and the food is delicious. right im going to have to wwrap this up because im telling you all the good bits of the holiday when you should be going there yourself and checking it out, but personally i have to say one thing IT WAS THE BEST HOLIDAY EVER.
If you have just read this thank you and i hope you do choose to go here on holiday. Jason x

Parque de la Paz: Our Opinion by Barzey |
| Posted 18 February 2002 | Overall rating: 8.0 |
It was approx 10 years ago since we were there, so in fairness things will have changed. All I can safely say is that it was a very nice, pleasant hotel with good standards which I am sure they would have kept up. Nice location too between Las Americas and Los Christianos
