First visit to Ayia napa 2000. Pulled up at Pavlo Napa. A bit posh for us. Thought we would be kicked out within a day. We lasted the full 14.
Room were a bit small to sleep 3.
Location was great. Right on the beach. Or a short walk to Nissi Beach.
Would stay there again. Must have drunk enough drink to cover the cost of the holiday.

The food in this hotel is just terrible. It's pub food of below average quality. Could hardly expect it from a 4-star Mediterranean hotel. The worse food we had during our stay in Cyprus (even in comparison with a canteen in a water park nearby).
If you are up to staying in Sandy Bay choose Tasia Maris Sands instead. It's a recently built 3-star whose perfect sea view is up to 20% cheaper than questionable side sea view at Pavlo Napa (the rooms themselves are better as well).
How do I know about Tasia Maris Sands? Having paid for SSV BB we were not satisfied with our road view room. After two nights were transferred to Tasia Maris Sands (3 min away) with upgrade to AI in Pavlo Napa.
Final neutral points: Pavlo Napa is overwhelmed by British couples and families (with inclusions of Russians, Germans, French, Polish, Romanians and some others whose language I can't identify) with animation close to none (at least in terms of quality). On the other hand, Tasia Maris Sands is absolutely quiet hotel with no animation or unwanted interaction with anybody (except reception and restaurant/bar stuff).
Very last point (just recalled): no view over the beach from restaurant/bar/pool areas of Tasia Maris Sands b/c of bushy fence.
Have a great time in Ayia Napa!
