THE HOTEL
The hotel was excellant, but I already knew this as two mates went three weeks earlier, It seems it sold heavily to the scottish as there was a lot but thats no bad thing
Hotel check in staff was very quick and helpful. we went on a ALL INCLUSIVE basis and what great value it was
THE ROOM
Room was a good size, we had three singles beds in there after a bit of a move around we ended with a makeshift double and single, we were on a corner of the hotel so the bathroom was a strange triangle shape small but not a problem, we had an superb view of magaluf beach
THE FOOD
The restaurant, was constantly being cleaned, the food was hot and of the best quality ive had on a baleric holiday,
breakfast could of been better but dinner and tea I cant complain about, there was loads of choice they also had theme nights most nights all of excellant quality, there was a vast choice of desserts
whilst we were there It was my Birthday and the restaurant manager came out with a cake and bottle of champagne (cheap fizzy plonk), which was nice, most places charge for that.
The snack bar did food when resaurant wasnt open, chips burgers and sandwhiches,
THE BAR
Staff at the bar were helpfull and would do most drinks you asked for, (try the oasis cocktail) looks nice till you stir it, but stir and drink. there were a few queues at the entertainment time but just get a few drinks in then watch bar and go when it get shorter,
THE ENTERTAINMENT
They did the usuall stuff bingo, kids disco all done by the hotel staff, then there was the outside acts who come in, Not the best but better than ive had at other hotels,
HOTEL REPS
brilliant, had loads of time for the kids,
THE KIDS CLUB/REPS(thomas cook/jmc)
This is where it goes a bit wrong we were told there was a free kids club but found it was free to go to but they did a lot of activities which they charged extra for, One was an early new years eve party or something it cost 15 euros per child but you had to provide your own drinks (remember we were all inclusive but had to provide drinks, dont understand that)
BOOK all your trip away from your travel reps, we went on the catamaran a brilliant afternoon it stops twice so you can swim in the see and on the way back we spotted two dolphin, but it wasnt what we were expecting, the thomas cook rep sold it as a trip round the bay, food then to palma and the cathedral, it never went near palma, the price paid was 10 euro each extra than the guide they gave us because now they do food and drink all inclusive, turned out to be a salad sandwhich and a drink, we also found out people from the same hotel with different travel reps paid 12 euro lower than us and if we got it from the pier it would of cost 15euro less than reps, thomas cook your a rip off, we expected them to try and sell us watches sunglasses like the dell boys in the town,
OUT AND ABOUT
out the hotel cross a road down the steps is the beach, As above try the catamaran worth the cost.
western world is worth a visit if you have younger kids as they have water rides that four can go on,if the kids are older or your just big kids go the water park across the road,
LASTLY
Well worth the visit we will go back there again if we can, we heard they were goin to sell the hotel to the italians, I hope not because its hard to find a hotel that meets all that you want, Just dont use thomas cook
