| If you walk along the black volcanic sand beach away from the town of Perissa and it's accomodation and bars and eateries you will get to the quieter end of Perivolos. The sand is hot and slopes down gradually to the clear cool waters, there are small taverna's which offer a welcome drink and snack, and sunbeds where you can while away the days and unwind .... to the sound of distant greek music and the waves on the shoreline.
You can gaze out to sea and see passing yachts and ferries , and look inland to the mountains and the little villages clustering around the hillside.
It is truly a place to chill out and doze your cares away!
It is brilliant - you relax as soon as you get off the plane! |
