One of the best holidays we've had. Having lost my mother in the January2002 I decided to try to get my father away on holiday for the 1st time abroad. He was very reluctant as he wasn't with mum. I was a bit put off after i'd read some of the reveiws but it was too late to do anything. Having arrived at the back which was the entrance I thought we weren't near the beach. After being shown to our rooms which were very spacious, clean and bright, discovered that the balcony overlooked the most beautiful stretch of white clean sand and the clearest water i've ever seen anywhere. All apts had the same view. It was in a quiet spot but shops in either direction in front and behind the hotel. The food was very reasonably priced and the drinks were not weak either. the sangria was one of the best i'd tasted. The road in front of the hotel which was only an access road and had horsedrawn carriages up and down it was a lovely sight too. There was a good bus service into palma and anywhere else from there. 1 euro. every 15 minutes. The staff were very friendly and spoke good english. I even got one of the reception staff to translate a letter into a spanish written one asking the staff at the dolphin marina for a special request as it was my 40th birthday. To stroke a dolphin. It worked. That was an excellent day. Dad has been wanting to go back there since. having been to 2 other parts of Majorca and Ibiza, he 'd rather be there. I've just booked for us to go back in October this year. Many Many Germans but sometimes their bars are much more lively and entertaining than the British bars which were few and far between. At the end of the day the Germans only go for the best. Apts though don't usually appeal to them . They fill all the hotels. So this apt is mostly Brits. Great place.
