Stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of March. First impressions were "nice staff", very friendly throughout our stay. We had a small room, very basic, but had everything you need for a good stay, colour TV, nice bathroom, ashtray, warm radiator... you get the picture! Had the best view ever right down the Boulevard de Clichy, we were on the 5th floor and our room looked right down the middle of the road. It was such a good view, i wouldn't have cared if the hotel was really crap! Fortunately for us, it was far from crap! The only niggle was the lift took forever to reach the 5th floor and the stairs were a bit of a nightmare, spiral and small. Beware the triangular lift though, 1st time i have ever seen one that shape. You'll see what i mean when you go! The hotel itself is located right in the best spot in Paris, nice and lively and loads to see and do nearby. Place de Clichy Metro station is literally on the doorstep and Pigalle is nearby too. Hotel also is situated above a nice Tex-Mex restaurant which is quite handy.
We had a great time at the hotel and would certainly go back.
Just remember, it's a budget hotel, you get what you pay for, so don't expect luxury for £20 pp a night!
