Excellent Holiday. Apartments are very clean. Playa Bella is situated away from the noise of the town but in easy reach of the night life. It has a stunning pool from which you can get to the beach in literally 4 foot steps as the beach is only 2 metres from the pool area.

Next to the pool is a large play area for children with a giant inflatable shark and many other fun accessories for the children. (small charge)

Situated within the apartments is a restaurant that serves excellent quality food which we visited regularly as well as a breakfast bar, a bar with entertainment and a bar with Sky Sports TV for all the lads and a perfume shop for all the ladies. The entertainment at night was also first-class starting with bingo at 8pm.

We loved it that much we have already booked to go again next year. First rate family complex, with very friendly staff.

Just got back from Playa Bella. This was our 1st stay here & we thought it was great. Our party consisted of Myself, Wife, Daughter Michelle (16) & 2 of Daughters friends (Michelle & Carley also both 16)
Our apartment was a 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment. More than enough room for our party of 5 (the room is advertised as sleeps 8)
We arrived at about 12 noon & because the rooms are not vacated till 12 noon obviously our room wasnt ready. We moved into our room at 1.20pm which we thought was great.
No problem having to get up early for a sunbed because they keep them chained up until 9am. If you get down to the pool area for about 8.50am you should get a bed (or 2!) both myself & wife went down to get the 5 beds for our party & had no problems (well except 1 morning when we went down 30 mins later to find someone had pinched one of our beds!!)
The rooms were cleaned & towels changed every couple of days. The aircon control is available for a 20 euro deposit at reception - the aircon is at a fixed temperature but is a great asset.
I found staff at the bar a little temperamental, sometimes you could stand waiting to be served whilst no one else was waiting!!
The food was good - we only really ate at the bar in the afternoon.
The surrounding area is very good. Just take a walk along the road & there is a big selection of bars & resturents to choose from including Chinese & Indians - we ate one night at a Chinese (dragon i think it was called) & found it to be great value for money.
Even thought everyone told us the entertainent at Playa Bella was great we prefered to go "out & about" to check other places.
You can catch the water taxi just a few yards away over to San Antonio Town for 2 euros each - but make sure you catch the last one back at 12 midnight, otherwise you will be walkin back around the bay - we walked it a few times & it takes about 40 minutes but there are plenty of bars along the way for refreshments if you want!!
Even thought the sea is rocky it is one of the best beaches for swimming off I have been to.
We will go back again to Playa Bella in a few years time because this stay was so pleasent & relaxing (maybe not that relaxing with 3 16 year old girls!!!!) & we will certainly be recommending it to others.

Since coming back just 3 days ago I have visited the Playa Bella website & thanked them for a great holiday. Theyhave contacted me to thank them for sending the email & to let me know that next year they will be offering booking direct with them. I will look into that option at some time.

I stayed at thee apartments with my three children this year and cannot recommend this complex highly enough. The apartments are located right on the beach and the beach although a little rocky is wonderful. The complex is very clean and the staff are very friendly. They really do go out of their way to try and make this a special holiday. The entertainment is wonderful and the resident entertainers, Alfie and Cindy, are really first-class. If you are thinking of going to Ibiza, do not miss out. Stay at the Playa Bella apartments.

Playa Bella - Front Balcony - Floor 1

Playa Bella - Lounge Area

Spent a relaxed week in Playa Bella Apartments. It's a large, clean complex, right on the beach. They were still waiting for a mains power upgrade to activate the aircon when we were there (Aug/Sept 02) but it wasn't a problem for us (not so hot off peak). There are small lifts in certain blocks, so if your legs are tired, the stairs can be avoided.

Everything was clean and tidy. The apartments are close to all amenities, and about 1 mile away there is an excellent curry house. Well worth a walk if you are having withdrawal symptoms!

The only critiscm we had of the apartments (and it's unavoidable really) was the noise from the road - mainly 50cc mopeds, which you can't complain about too much, as the Spanish use them to get around as much as the holiday makers. Then again, we were on the front of the building, and just above the ground floor (floor 1).

Water taxi to San Antonio town is cheap and relaxed, although a bit worrying heading off in the dark at night! Buses are frequent, cheap and reliable. Get the bus into San An, then another one onto Ibiza Town (well worth a visit). Car hire is relatively cheap, but fuel is pretty expensive (but not as dear as the UK - but where is)!

There's a supermarket a few seconds from the apartments, but a much better place is where the Spanish buy. Head along the road outside Playa Bella away from San An (in other words, with the apartments behind you, go to the right). Eventually, the road turns to the left, and up a hill. At the top of the hill, turn left again along the main road, and there is an excellent supermarket with fresh produce, bread, drinks etc a lot cheaper than elsewhere.

Overall, enjoyed the stay, accomodation was fine. Would recommend - but if you have small children, the street could be a worry.
