| Had a great stay in Tenerife and thouroughly enjoyed our holiday. The hotel, weather, resort, nightlife, everything was fantastic.
However we decided to buy a video camera while there. We looked and chose a samsung video camera and seperate NIKON still camera. The bloke in the shop showed us this amazing "JVC" camera which did both and really gave a expert sales pitch. We fell for it and took the "JVC" camera but when we got home we realised we'd been had. If you look on the internet there are countless stories of people who've been to the Canary islands and have been sold fake JVC cameras. My advice would be to not buy any electrical goods out there unless you are certain beyond doubt that what you are buying is real and don't get talked into buying anything, walk away, have a look on the internet and go back later to buy it if you still want it.
It didn't spoil our holiday even though we could have bought the same camera in argos for £150 less. Go and have fun but be carefull about what you're buying! |
