| Playa de Muro Travel Guide: Nothing much to do here.
| | Written by Susan Lorains on 17 Aug 2007 about a trip in Jul 2007. Trip was for a family on holiday. Susan Lorains would definitely visit again.
| Playa de Muro attractions | 3.0 | | The maze and beach. |
Playa de Muro shopping | | | Not much entertainment here, definatly not a resort for English. It is German/French and Swiss orientated. No night life not that i wanted a club but some ones one did want some music and dance. There was a maze which was good but after 2 weeks there are only so many times you can go round even on a fright or fun night. Beware for the young ones as they put the lights out, even i fell down some stairs. There are some good family bars, G Ps bar run by Spanish who were brilliant and The Swan which showed up to date films, this was our entertainment for 2 weeks as our hotel was all in German. Shopping was about 100 Spar Supermarkets, everywhere you turned. Amusements every other shop just wanting euro after euro. The beach in Playa de Muro was good but do a deal on the sun beds dont pay day by day, dont be afraid to ask. Whatch who you buy fresh friut from too on the beach take a day or so to work it out, and ask the price before they cut for you. You can tell genuine sellers if carefull. inca market is worth a visist for 1/2 a day if you like leather and fake branded bags, a day out for a change. Marineland is brill but make it 1/2 a day as thats all it takes even though it offered a beach. Do a half day with Marineland and aqualand as thats more worth its money. Takes about 50 minutes on an organised trip, check the price with the outside holiday dealers as may be cheaper. Just make sure you get a seat before the Germans customers! |
Playa de Muro nightlife | | | No nightlife at all for any clubbers or none clubbers just a few bars and resturants. If night life is what you want then stay away, all we saw at night were the dustbin men around 12pm. |
Playa de Muro restaurants | | | The Swan and J Ps two English pubs. Most were the same outside these seving the same food. A few Chinise and we saw one Indian. |
Playa de Muro day trips | | | Inca market worth a visist, marineland and Aqua land and the go-carting in Alcudis was very good for all ages. |
