Stayed at Playa Cas Sabones Oct 2004 and loved it. The air conditioned (self controlled) apartments overlooked the beautiful pool area. Clean, well maintained and very friendly/helpful staff. Fast food in bar is ok. The only downside was the entertainment. This was done by an elderly gent who informed us it was his last year there so hopefully things will improve. Lots of entertainment outside complex and some nice restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
A must is the train ride from Palma to Soller. Its a wooden train similar to those used in western movies. The train stops half way there so you can get off to take photos and the sights are quite breathtaking. Good day out. Taxi to Palma Station and you board from the brick building opposite.

We spent two weeks here in August 2004. Apartment was smaller than we expected, but the air conditioning was very welcome. I don't think we would have slept at all without it.
On site entertainment didn't inspire us to stay in the evening, so can't comment too much.
There was competition for sunbeds in the morning, but we always managed to get two, just not always in the same place. On our second week there were a few more rowdy people in the pool, but I suppose that's just pot luck as to who you are there with. It was fun on a couple of late mornings (9:30) watching the "lads" coming back from the nightclubs, and falling asleep on the sunbeds. After a few minutes the staff did ask them to get up and go to bed.
We did think they could have kept the pool area tidier. Nobody was collecting the accumalating cigarette ends and litter.
Ideally located if you can't decide whether to go to Magaluf or Palma Nova. As you just walk down the hill, and turn right for Magaluf, or left for Palma Nova.

We stayed here in July 2002 and we had an excellent holiday. The atmosphere is good because mainly families stay here so you don't get the noise of a large group of young people. The apartments are of a good standard and are cleaned every day. The pool and bar area are also clean and of a good standard. The staff here are excellent and very helpfull especially Louis the barman. He is very friendly and a good laugh and he will help you with your Spanish if you need it. All in all I would recommend these apartments and intend to stay there again some when in the future.
