| Tunisia in general is a lovely country to visit. I have been twice and my fiance has been 3 times!!
Just remember that it's part of Africa and they like to barter!!!
The resort of Port El Kantaoui is very clean and seems to be free of beggars. The nightlife isn't that great, it all tends to happen in the hotel so make sure you pick somewhere that says they have a lot going on in the evenings or at least plenty of places to have a drink and meet up with people.
Each time we go to Tunisia we make new friends, this year we met a lovely couple called Kate & Andy. It's nice to meet up with people for a drink in the evening and find out where they visited so that you can decide if it will be a worthwhile trip for you.
I beg of you please don't go to Tunisia and stay in your Hotel for the entire duration of your holiday - there are so many wonderful places to visit and bargains to be bought in the markets!!! |
