| Prague Review: Besida Bonsai Hotel, Prague | | Written by Nikki26 on 29 Sep 2005 about a trip in Feb 2005.
| My boyfriend and I visited Prague at the start of this year, more his desire to go than mine as he loves all the historical old buildings and castles, it was more the cheap beer that pursuaded me! Despite that, I really loved the place and the sights are amazing.
We stayed at the Besida Bonsai Hotel which quite a way out of the city, about a 20 minute walk, but close to the Underground which we caught a few times. The hotel was lovely though, clean and well looked after. We had a lovely big attic room and the staff were really helpful. The breakfast was a traditional czech meal of bread, cold meats, yoghurt.
We found many nice bars serving cheap beer, my favourite beer being one called Velvet. A really good nightclub which was situated on the bank of the river by the Charles Bridge, was a three floor club called Lavka.
We found a couple of really nice restaurants, one being a Thai restaurant in the northern part of the city. |
