The hotel presidente is certainly one of the best hotels I have been too, food was brilliant everyday and over 14 nights there was a different selection of food, staff in the restaurant were excellent.
Rooms were very clean and maids were very friendly. Bar was nice and clean but expect to pay for a pint of san miguel is 3.25 euros. Portinatx itself is a very quiet resort, only a handful of bars and restaurants.
The hotel is on a huge hill and the walk to and from the beach is a killer, especially with a buggy!!! you have to go along a decking and back up the other side to get to the main square. This is certainly difficult for hard of walking individuals but was nice for us to walk the dinner off!
Spar shop is nearby for any essentials forgotten.
