Qawra Review: Nice Place but as messy as the rest of Malta

Written by Jon Curtis on 03 Sep 2003 about a trip in Jul 2003.

Qawra is very close to Bugibba and only takes a few minutes to walk between the two although it is a bit of a hill climb between them. Bugibba is the livelier side with a very good atmosphere of an evening. Touriste Street has a few good places to eat - try La Sorpreso and do find 'The Overflow' it's located between Bugibba and Qawra and well worth finding for the excellent Steaks, Fish and the Set menu.

Could be a very nice resort of the government tidied it up and made some sunbathing areas on the beaches!

Stayed at The Mavina Holiday Complex
