| Qawra Travel Guide: Chilled
| | Written by Bomber on 31 Mar 2006 about a trip in Sep 2004. Trip was for a couple on holiday. Bomber would definitely visit again.
| Qawra shopping | 6.0 | | various shops spread out over the side of the hill towards buggiba . and the main square had enough to keep my wife quiet. |
Qawra nightlife | 6.0 | | lots of small bars and restuarants at reasonable prices who often had some sort of entertainment plus the obligitory football screens for the brain dead. |
Qawra restaurants | 8.0 | | we found two small restaurants that were ample for our needs just outside of our apartments. chaplins was a family run place with the owners so attentive to our needs and welcoming. limited menu but that was made up by the quality. some meals had to be prebooked due to length of preparation required for the meal. |
Qawra attractions | 3.0 | | limited, but we were not there for the sights. only to relax. |
Qawra History and Culture | | | Qwara, what can I say but I loved it. The Water was as warm as the air temp and the beaches are Stone. thus no sand in the packed lunches. felt totaly at easy leaving property on the rocks while we went swimming and snorkling. the evenings were warm and relaxing. with just enough entertainment without being overwhelmed by noise. it must been ok as we will be back there in 2006. |
When to visit Qawra | | anytime as its never closed. |
