Queens: Budget priced and good, clean accommodation by David Bull |
| Posted 02 March 2008 about a visit in February 2008 | Overall rating: 7.4 |
A value for money hotel situated close to the Crystal Palace. Certainly suitable for anyone looking to visit London on a budget, the athletics centre or Crystal Palace FC. The rail station is 1 mile away so you have to be able to walk that distance but it links to central London or south to CPFC with ease. I understand that the buses that stop outside the hotel also provide a link to central London.
I was provided with a double room for single occupancy. It was clean and tidy, as was the bathroom. No remote for the TV but I'm sure that could have been resolved if I had been around for more than sleeping.
Did not use the bar or dinning facilities, as I was not there enough. The continental breakfast was sparse, but they usually are. An English breakfast was available for a supplement.
I would have no problem in staying there again.
