I had booked a room at the Radisson Edwardian Vanderbilt at a discounted rate through the Internet and had rather expected to be disappointed. It turned out to be an excellent hotel, well worth its 4 stars, in an excellent location just by Gloucester Road Underground Station and within easy reach of many major tourist and shopping attractions. I booked room only, and didn't try the restaurant, but otherwise everything was spotlessly clean, smart and had a touch of luxury. I really would recommend it.
