We have just been to the Alcron SAS Radisson Hotel in Prague. If you are going there you are in for a real treat, it is a wonderful hotel there is really nothing bad to say about it, although the drinks in the bar where a bit expensive, but, its a 5 star hotel, so expected I suppose. The only thing, if you want to be picky is that it would be nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, but other than that, brilliant.
The Square, we thought was like Oxford Street, not what we expected at all, just a large street with all the big shops in it, M & S etc. The Old Town, Charles Bridge and the Cathederal are a must to see and the markets are very pretty, especially when it gets dark and all the Christmas lights are on. The stalls all sell the same sort of goods, so a bit repetative. Obviously all the main tourist places are always packed with people, we where warned about pick pockets, but we had no trouble at all and felt relatively safe even in such large gatherings, just be sensible and keep valuables in a concealed bag about your person.
We flew with Czech Airways, very good service and plenty of leg room.
So, all in all, a wonderful hotel and lovely Christmas experience.

There is nothing bad I can say about this hotel.
The staff were very friendly very polite and very helpful. Most of them spoke excellent English but should you ask someone something they didn't understand they would quickly find someone who did.
The service was excellent as were the rooms, the food, the atmosphere ,everything.
It is in the heart of the City and the staff were more than happy to give us maps and directions. They even drew diagrams for those among us (ok just me)unable to read a map.
I'd recommend this hotel to any and everyone you won't find better service and you can quote me on that!!!
