| Rhodes Travel Guide: Rhodos

Trip was for a couple on holiday. Julie Gilbert would definitely visit again.
| Rhodes shopping |   7.0 | | Travelled to just outside Lindos, Lindos has some lovely shops although a little on the expensive side however, I only do a little gift shopping as I do enough of that when I am in Britain. |
Rhodes nightlife | | | Lindos is very nice no real noisy clubs just a top class place to people watch and have a drink and something to eat its not dangerous apart from the road surface which is made up mainly of stones and these have become slippery where they have been walked on over time so be careful what type of foot wear you choose I chose flip flops and went falling into a postcard display and cut my hand, the lady who owned the postcards was not worried about her wares at all more concerned by my bleeding hand nice people |
Rhodes restaurants | | | There are quite a few to choose from we ate in Lindos, Pefkos and Lardos one restaurant in Lardos does the best Kleftika ever |
Rhodes attractions | | | The ampitheatre in Lindos is well lovely it is high up and take care as you walk again stones slippery, plenty of lacework to choose from on the way up be warned though Lindos is hot very hot when I went up it was 40 plus degrees take water and plenty of it with you |
Getting around Rhodes | | Getting around was not difficult we caught the bus from the end of the road of our hotel, and on several occasions we were picked up from the bus stop by fellow brits going into Lindos who had hired a car |
When to visit Rhodes | | Anytime really it all depends on how hot you like it the summer months are very hot and Lindos beach is a real sun trap I only had my t shirt off 5 minutes and I was burnt, and I dont burn that easy plenty of water and sun protection is needed. |
