| Rimini Review: WELCOME IN RIMINI!! | | Written by Nicholas on 27 Oct 2005 about a trip in Sep 2005.
| I was born in Rimini, a small but nice city on the Adriatic Sea.
"Ariminum", how the Romans called first zone of the city, was founded in 268 B.C. and was the most ancient colony built from Romans in the North Side of Appennini.
You can find many famous monuments in Rimini, such as Tiberius Bridge, Augustus Arch, Cathedral, Theater, Fontaine and the Pope Statue, situated in Cavour Square.
A lot of Tourist from all over Europe visit Rimini, especially in summertime, when is possible go on the beach.
For young people the nightlife is FANTASTIC!! There are many place of fun, bars, disco-pub, nightclub. I suggest you to visit Carnaby Club in Rivazzurra and Rose&Crown Pub (the first english pub style in Italy) near Marvelli (old Tripoli) Square.
