The Rio Park has undergone some major refurbishment last winter and is now officially a 3 star hotel with a great big 5 star quality, as I am sure many of the repeat guests will testify to. The lifts have all been replaced which was one of the recurring gripes here, no longer I am pleased to say.
As always the staff are on top form, polite friendly and helpful. As Thomson are the only tour operator at this hotel all the guests are British.
Unfortunately as stated previously the single rooms are Small! what's the answer? take a mate, it's a great place to stay for all the family and you have all the facilities of a great resort within a short walk.
This is a fantastic hotel and one I can personally recommend having stayed here on at least 6 occassions with family and friends ranging from 6 yrs to 66 yrs, go on give your self a treat

I was staying in the Rio Park Hotel for two weeks in the Month of may this year All in all I must say that it was one of the best holidays I have had in a long time The hotel was compleatly first class There was only one complaint the single room accomodation was just as the word says single there was no balcony and not enough room to swing a cat .Now as to Restaurant . What can I say the meals Marks out of 100 / 120 it was that good the staff again top marks the linen was changed every dsy but it was a bit inconvenent if you were on the top floor as the staff were a bit vocol and after a heavy night it sometimes was not very welcome . Now as to the entertainment Where to start the hotel was good for Bingo and staff shows and after a good night out it was good to get a toastie from Paco in the hotel bar The entertaiment in the rest of the town the list is endles and please reamember Stick Vicky she should be in a zoo . I am going back to Benidorm in september and look forward to another good holiday
