Stayed at the ritz with my girlfriend for a week and got really what we'd payed for, a
comfy hotel holiday with great weather, fortunately we'd booked relatively last minute so it had also been discounted to a more realistic price!!!(Under £500 B&b)
The hotel itself was pleasant enough, quality finished rooms, immaculately kept gardens and pool area, excellent private jetty and beach area. The breakfast and other meals
and drinks were too of an exceptional standard but all at a price, especially in comparison to the rest of the resort.
The hotel unbelievably, has no where near enough sun loungers by the pools or on the
beach, unless your willing to get up before breakfast to get your towel on one !!!! or
by bribing the pool boys heavily, not really acceptable for this standard of hotel.
The sorkelling from the jetty though was excellent, a real pleasure and a must for anyone going to this part of the world.
As for the costs a coke is about £2 and a beer is 4, if your a wine lover forget it as a glass is about £7!! A simple lunch for 2 of a burger/pasta or pizza will set you back about £25 and a evening meal about £60.
Meanwhile, a courtersy bus ride away in Naama bay at Hard Rock and other various restaurants it's all about half the price, even including a £4 cab ride home!!!.
Don't forget to pick up your favourite spirits in duty free on the way there otherwise
you'll be melting your cards in your wallet at the end of the week....!!
