Spent 5 days at this hotel and got exactly what I went for, a calm, clean hotel in a great location for a peaceful recharging holiday. The room was spacious, air conditioning worked well, beautifullly cleaned each day by pleasant staff. The staff in the hotel worked hard and poolside, the service was excellent and not expensive. The pools were located in great spots with very few children around so swimming was easy and pleasant. The clientele mainly couples, although a few lone travellers too, around the 35+ age group and mainly European. Very few British people. People generally kept themselves to themselves but were friendly and polite. Food in the hotel is good, plenty of it, though the fish was disappointing. Would go half board again, but would go and sample local food at least once just to vary the repertoire. In the evening there was a singer who entertained in a very low-key way, but by 11pm most people had gone to bed. Definitely not a hotel if you are looking for a loud, party atmosphere!! Illetas itself is pretty, the hotel was within 10 minutes striking distance of a nice beach and plenty of small shops and other facilities in the area. 20 minutes by taxi to the airport which made life alot easier. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would love to go back.
