We loved this hotel. We originally booked at their sister hotel next door, the Riu Cypria Maris. We discovered friends of ours staying at Cypria Bay and we asked if we could move over. They couldn't have been more helpful, they arranged for a porter to take our luggage over and we were very pleased with their service and friendliness. The Cypria Bay is a lot more modern. The reception is huge and light, leading to a fabulous pool area. We loved the gardens and we spent a lot of time relaxing in one of the MANY sun loungers. Towels were provided daily. The maid service was excellent, each day the clean towels were arranged into different shapes (i.e. swans) on the beds.
The restaurant was first class, the food varied and the sweets were to die for !!
The entertainment was O.K. they tried. We played bingo one night and it took ages with all the languages. Usual Greek dancing and entertainment. The resident trio was good. Quite a lot of English guests, not many Germans.
We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Just one thing - we noticed opposite the hotel they were clearing the ground, possibly for building, but there is a huge car park in the front of the hotel and the pool/cabaret/beach are located at the rear of the hotel, so I shouldn't think it will bother anyone.
