RUI TRES ISLAS – OCTOBER 2006

I have just returned from the RUI TRES ISLAS and have to say what a brilliant time I had. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Corralejo, in the National Park Area. It is ideally located on the beach.

The hotel is frequented mainly by German Tourists and as such offers a level of service which can only be described as excellent. Upon arrival I was greeted with a glass of champagne whist the reception staff checked me in, luggage is taken to your room by porters.

The restaurant offers a varied selection of foods to cater for all tastes. You are allocated your own table and waiter for the duration of your stay. I could find no fault with the food, and there was live cooking and themed nights. There is a dress code in operation in the evening, no shorts or sleeveless t-shirts allowed.
If you fancy a really lazy day you can order breakfast in bed for €3.

There is limited entertainment each night and the bar closes at 2am. Have to say there was no rowdiness or raised voices to be heard.

The room are cleaned daily and have a mini bar, although this can be expensive. All rooms have TV, telephone, mini bar, shower and bath. Single rooms have no balcony, although the views over to Los Lobos and Lanzarote are excellent. Laundry service is available.

This was a holiday to laze around and relax and say I can say I was not disappointed, no problems getting a sun bed.

To go into Corralejo you can get he bus for €1 or a taxi from outside the hotel for €5.

For a totally relaxing, do nothing holiday I would definitely go again. Temperature during my stay was a respectable 80°F.
