At the beach - doesn't show it off to its best though!

At the Sea World thing!

I have just came back from a weeks stay at Rosa Del Mar (02 - 09/08/2005) and loved every second of it! I wouldn't recommend it for people who want to go with small children as a family though as the night life is out of this world and not really any thing for 'little ones' to do. The drinks and food are so cheap that it is so easy to have a good time and you are guaranteed not to have one bad night there - unless you don't want to go out every night and have fun and in that case don't even bother going!

The rooms and service are second to none and every where you go is so clean - which was a big shock compared to the town where I live!! The people are so nice and you will defiantly make friends on your stay.

They said that the beach was a 5 min walk but it only took about 2 mins to get there. The sand is so clean and the sea you can see straight through - but watch out for the seaweed! The cafes and shops around the place are great and you don't have to even walk 1 min to get to the night life - ideal for staggering home after a hard nights drinking! There are lots of English restaurants around so ideal for the 'fussy' eater.

I wouldn't recommend the Cave coach trip as they miss out telling you the fact that you have to go to lots of different places and stay there for ages instead of going to the cave like you should! I would defiantly go to see the Pirate show, esp. the un-cut, over 18's version!

I cant really think of much more to say apart from the whole holiday was fantastic and the weather was boiling! Already booked for next year!

Stayed at this Hotel in July 2004, had a great time. The Rooms are adequate, with air-conditioning - a real life saver in the hot months! We are going back in August 2005, so i recommend it.

When we first arrived we were impressed with the fountain outside and the marbled floors in reception (be careful if you haven't dripped dry after being in the pool). there's also plenty of comfy sofa's to relax on if you've got a bad pick up time.

The rooms were cleaned nearly every day - although with 4 of us crammed in one room and one very messy individual with us we did get warned to tidy the room ourselves one day. thanks dougie!

The hotel is very close to Son Matias beach and has many restaurants and bars next door in the quieter more family friendly Palma Nova (just next to magaluf). note. Ennis's irish bar is very friendly and does a good breakfast, and the pizza shop nearby is good for your money too.

The pool is a good size and there was always enough sunbeds to go around, it does get pretty deep quite quickly at one end.

Tennis courts were available on site for a small charge, although i'd recommend taking your own racquet and balls as the ones provided were a little used and you'll only last ten mins in the heat.

A 5 minute walk (without stopping in the bars on the way) and you're on the main strip of magaluf. This was ideal for me as once you went back at night there was no real noise apart from that of the other people arriving back.

I would not recommend families to stay at this hotel in the peak months and i have no sympathy for the families that complain about the hotels of palma nova and magaluf at this time. Im afraid they should avoid the lively resorts, its common sense. There's plenty of other places for them to take their just as annoying screaming kids... ie.
butlins.

Rosa del Mar: don't take the kids by M Mrl
Posted 23 February 2003
This is not a familly hotel/apartment, great for 18-30's but not for famillies.
Next to a 24hr bar and a short walk into magaluff.

This needs a complete make over when we were there on a short break we were moved within 24hrs due to the dangerouse state of the room furnishings.
