This is a four star hotel on a well kept resort in a convenient area in the south of the island which is within easy travelling distance of a shopping area in San Luis, an exceptionally good supermarket and an easy drive to the capital of Mao. S'Algar has a sports centre but no proper beach. There are a number of bars and a pizzeria in the resort and a small bakery which can be recommended.
The hotel iself is more suited to the older guest and one of the few complaints that I have was that on this our third return visit the hotel had managed to double book a number of guests
