| Make sure you book in advance if you want a trip out to Alcatraz, they can get completely booked.
Good city to walk around but it can be a bit hilly.
Lots of tourist sights and the transportation is good.
My main recommendation would be to spend as much as you can afford and stay in a hotel at Fishermans Wharf. The further out you get the worse the quality of hotels and the seedier the neighbourhood. |
