WE STAYED HERE IN JUNE,2002.WE WERE ON A LATE DEAL AND DIDNT KNOW WHERE WE WERE STAYING. ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL LATE AT NIGHT AND GREETED BY VERY FRIENDLY STAFF.THE HOTEL IS VERY CLEAN INDEED.THE ENTERTAINMENT STAFF DO THERE VERY BEST. THERE ARE TENNIS COURTS,BOWLS,TABLE TENNISETC NEARBY WITH A LOCAL CHARGE. THE FOOD IN THE HOTEL IS NOT THE BEST WEVE HAD,IT WAS NEVER HOT OR VERY APPETITISING.THE STAFF WORK VERY HARD ESPECIALLY THE WAITERS ROBERTO & RAUL THEY NEVER SEEMED TO HAVE A DAY OFF THE TWO WEEKS WE WERE THERE. WE RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL IF YOU LIKE PEACE AND QUIET. THERE IS NO NIGHTLIFE IN THE RESORT OF S,ALGAR SO YOU ARE REALLY BASED IN THE HOTEL.WE HAD TO HIRE A CAR TO GET OUT OR ELSE WE WOULD HAVE GONE MAD.
