We paid 305 eros a night for a small, basement like room with no view.
The hotel has better rooms, we discovered, at 420 and 450 euros / night. These have views across the town to the sea. Next time I'd either try these or take our chances elsewhere.
Clientele is fairly young and trying to "out cool" each other. The hotel does try very hard to be cool. I felt this was at the expense of service though.
We didn't eat in the hotel, apart from breakfast. There are too many really good restaurants nearby, and the hotel restaurant was mostly empty.
The pool area is very attractive, It's a shame they blast out "ambient" music from breakfast onwards. I think it must be part of the "cool" thing. I found it irritating. Pool service is not their strong point. At 5 euros for a juice I'd have expected them to be a bit keener to make and serve them. But I guess at 300 + euros a night they can afford to live without the extra income.
