Have to agree with the other review, these apartments are ideal for a beach holiday. Spacious, clean and great location. Ok, a bit neglected, dodgy light fittings, broken window shutters etc but there doesnt seem to be a maintenance man, just a couple who go in each day to clean the empty rooms ready for the next people. You only get clean towells once per week and no clean sheets, and they only clean your room once per week but we were fine with that as we kept it clean ourselves (theres a brush mop and bucket in your room). We had a microwave, toaster, kettle and two electric rings, (no oven and no air con.) We only had breakfast in the apartment then we were on the beach all day and ate out in the evenings. Mostly English people stay at Ses Gavines and there all very friendly, some having been other years and come back again. I think its a great accomodation for couples looking for something basic near the beach and we,ll definately be going back there. Loved Cala Millor, lovely prom and beach and very reasonable prices for food and drink. Lots of Germans there but also plenty of English places to. Try The British Bull Dog (say HI to Chris from Liverpool) The Sportsman, Get Stuffed (brilliant menu) The Rose and Crown, all great places to eat and very friendly staff. You can also walk along the prom to Cala Bona which is very British but a bit run down.

Ses Gavines Reservations

Ses Gavines: excellent location and very clean and tidy by Tim Moule

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Ses Gavines appartments. They are situated in a great location only 50 yards from the beach. The rooms are basic but are kept extremely clean and tidy. They have a fridge, microwave, hob and kettle with ample crockery and kitchen utensils etc. Some of the paintwork etc could do with sprucing up a bit, but for a 2 star place, you could not ask for any better comfort. My view is that if you want 4 or 5 star comfort you should be prepared to pay for it and not expect that in a lower value place.
We were lucky and got a front appartment overlooking the sea where we had 3 balcony's. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in Cala Millor and the price of beer is extremely reasonable varying from 1 to 2.5 euros for a pint of San Miguel ot a little more for imported drinks. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the Ses Gavines and would return there if we went to Cala Millor again. I would not put anybody off staying there whatsoever.
