Trip was for a family on holiday. Joanne Brook would absolutely not visit again.
| Unless your going to Cairo or on a trip out of sharm you do not need a visa so dont pay the rip off £10 per person charge just go straight to passport control. even airline will tell you that you need one but you dont - just tell the man stamping the passports you are not going on any trips. If you get charged complain to rep and get a complaint form ask for a copy and bring home to file a complaint you do not have to pay if you stay in sharm!!!!
If you like flies and people trying to get you into their shops then go but I would give it a miss. this was the worst holiday I have been on and I go on holiday five times a year.
Can't walk to beach or shops with out someone trying to stop you and sell you somthing, very, very over powering people.
If you don't tip you will not be looked after so make sure you have plenty of 20 egy pounds to give out. Taxis are the worst even if you agree a price they will still try and rip you off. you should not pay anymore an 30 egy pounds for a taxi (which is about £3.)
Do not go to Cairo the amount of pick ups you have to do is a joke, you only get to spend about 2 hours there. (don't belive everything the travel reps tell you.)
weather is great but could think of other places to go to get a suntan without all the hassle.
On way home in airport make sure you get to your gate leaving plenty of time we got crushed for about an hour because you have to scan your bags again before boarding plane and everyone just pushes in the line.
Would not recommend at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hotel was nice but like the other reviews not enough staff or if there was just did not serve you quick enough. |
