We stayed in the hotel Mid December in a spacious sea front suite at a winter promotion rate. We arrived in Tenerife Sur and reached the hotel by bus # 487 (45') and after a 15' walk (or taxi).
We stayed here already in February but we were not recognized. The sea front location is perfect. The centre on Playa de las Americas can be reached after a half an hour walk along the waterfront but you can return by bus # 416 with a stop 100 m from the hotel. The Sheraton staff is friendly. The hotel has a very large pool area with one heated pool and one ocean water pool, plenty of chairs and umbrellas.
Breakfast offers a reasonably wide choice but it was the same every day. Pastries were the same, the choice of jams was sometimes limited to one (strawberry) but with a larger choice of diet jams, raisin bread was available (on request) in the kitchen but not displayed on the buffet, the fresh pineapple was not juicy, the fruit juice was not fresh although it was promoted as a fresh fruit juice, pancakes were already dry and cold at 8.30 am instead of hot and fresh like the omelets.
A final detail: the wall-to-wall carpet in the corridors was already stained after the hotel opened just one year ago.
