| We love turkey, normally going to Calis or Fethiye and we went to side for a change.
Side is nice enough but suffers from some appalling bad practices, such as having a rubbish dump between the town and the "British"hotel area.
We stayed in the Oz Side, the hotel room was as usual for Turkey basic but clean. The maids were friendly, as were the bar staff and cleaners etc. Sadly the owner (manager?) was the most miserable git I have met in turkey.
He virtually searched the bags when you came back from shopping to see if you were bringing in your own water or beer etc.
It s a fair walk into town from here for the evenings, but, there are some smaller restaurants behind the hotel which because they are not so well patronised try a lot harder to please and offer really good value for money
We had a good holiday here ( gold is a very good buy here) |
