Siesta I: Good Hotel by Neil Roberts |
| Posted 16 September 2005 about a visit in March 2005 | Overall rating: 8.0 |
The Siesta is very clean and well maintained and is in a good location about 500 yards from the beach. There is a full entertainment programme run by a Dutch guy and a girl, who put a lot of work in. However some of the entertainment was very child orientated (like the Crazy Dance), even later on at night. They do have guest singers about 3 times a week, which provides more adult orientated entertainment. Leonard Johnson was the best of these, singing classic soul tunes and claiming to have been in Kool And The Gang. When we arrived (2nd April) there wasn't much open around that area but day by day shops and bars started to open up. The harbour area (about 2 miles away) has many more decent restaurants open all year. So I wouldn't reccomend going in early April as our end of town is basically a ghost town. I do, however, reccomend a walk into the old town as it's very picturesque and the cafes are excellent. All in All, a good family place to holiday.

Siesta I: Fantastic !!!! by Dave Roughley |
| Posted 04 March 2004 | |
The title says it all. This is my second visit to the siesta apartments and i was not dissapointed. The room was spotless and well maintained. They think of everything here. we even had washing up liquid, tea towels and pan scourers supplied for us. The rooms all have a big colour tv and the view over the pool was superb.
Under the hotel is a great little bar called the red lion, Ben and sarah do everything to keep adults and children entertained, the staff cant be faulted neither can the food.
we went in october 2003 and although the weather was terrible, we enjoyed every single minute..........
to sum it up. VIVa LAS SIESTA.
