Rooms was very basic (hence the price) wash basin and bath cracked. Bathroom smelt very very musty. Bedding ok. One major problem was on second night of our stay the fire escape door had a padlock on it. We complained at reception and was told it was because they had new furniture in the passage and did'nt want it stolen!! He said there was an alternative fire exit. No one was told where that was!! No new fire exit signs were in place!! I know it is a budget hotel, but surely we have the same rights to safety as people staying in a 5 star would have. If you value your life, do not stay here!!!!!!!!!
