We went to Son Parc in June and liked it so much we are going back in September. The beach/sea was wonderful and you could walk right out and the water was still only waist high. The bay was lovey as was the weather and they had life guards so very safe for children.
Not lots of night life but we didn't want any so it suited us. There were a few restaurants and bars though but mainly the entertainment was within the hotels. We hired a car for 3 days and it was well worth it as we had a good look around the Island. If you go self catering as we did, the Spar supermarket (there are two of them) near the golf club offers free delivery. The appartment Els Vents was very nice, clean and spacious. The pool & garden area was well kept too but we wouldn't stay there again because they allowed dogs in the appartments. We had two dogs next door who barked during the night and woke us up, and were a general nuisence. We loved Son Parc and are going back but not to stay at Els Vents.

Worst place we've ever had the misfortune to stay at!. The rooms were damp and mouldy. The pool is too small for the amount of rooms and the surrounding area is in the shade as there are fir trees everywhere. The Apartments are on the edge of the beach , but it is a ten minute walk to the water and uphill all the way back. The entertainment was ok but too little room to get a seat unless you're there hours early!.
