Stayed here for 1 week, all inclusive, never done this before, but we got a good deal so couldnt refuse, we took extra money because we thought we would have to eat out most nights, because you hear some pretty bad things about all inclusive hotels, we couldnt have been more wrong, it was absolutely gorgeous, the staff were great so helpful and friendly, the hotel itself was great too, it was really clean, great entertainment and right near the beach. Although we went as a couple there is loads for kids to do. Overall a brilliant holiday, and would highly recommend it.

What can I say about the hotel sol tordos/mirlos. I was there from the 17 june 06 to the 1st july 06, and I can tell you this is a first class hotel. like the other reviews I found this hotel PERFECTION.
The rooms are spot on air con, sat tv , and the food is first class as much as you can eat . I put on half a stone here I can never do that back home.Also the staff are very friendly
We were there when the world cup was on and we had soon good banter with the staff. Also only a stones thorw a way from the beach. If your looking for some were to stay in palma Nova look no more when you work hard all year for that two weeks in the sun the last thing you want is a crap hotel no matter how much time you spend in the room. well you will have no problems here.
And also palma nova is a first class resort. have a great holiday.
p.s one last tip don’t get on the coach get a taxi you will save so much time you will be on the beach when every on else will be unpacking. it cost’s 30 euros for four people that’s about £5 each to palma nova/magaluf. don’t forget to tell your rep when you land that you are getting a taxi.

I have to agree with the last review done, this Hotel is more or less perfection. I have been going back to this same hotel each year for the past 4 years, been out twice already this year and going back again this weekend!
The staff at the hotel are great, including cleaning, reception, bar and entertainment staff.
I would recommend this hotel for all ages, definately a family hotel, the kids club staff are excellent.... young un's (that would be me - 23) great fun, couples and the older generations.
Perfect location, set back perfectly from pubs etc, so no noise after 12, but good spot if you need to stumble home!
Would also reccomend booking with Travel City Direct !

I can't say enough about this Hotel, from the rooms (air con that actually WORKS!) to the Restaurant (buffet + show cooking), SOL really does the business, even down to the location, just 2 mins from the beach.
15 went in my party for 1 week,"All inclusive", the youngest at 2 to the eldest at 59. Not one person in the group could fault this Hotel.
It has all the usual familly hotel favourites such as kids clubs, daytime fun & games for the adults and a full evenings entertainment program put on by the entertainments team aswell as guest acts.
Everything is there for everyone, if it gets a bit too noisy you can go to the sun terrace (no kids), or pop round to the MIRLOS pool (Very laid back).
The beer flows from 10 til 1am and how many "All inclusives"have a local beer & San Miguel for free!
We booked with TRAVELCITY, and for the price, I challenge anyone to find better!

the sol mirlos cannot be faulted, the food was excellent, the staff superb the view from the odd numbered rooms was fabulous and the hotel rooms and public areas were immaculate, we had our room cleaned every day i would say this is nearer a 4**** than 3*** there is also entertainment for all ages and tastes!!! superb

Stayed at Sol Tordos. Food very good. Entertainment every night which everyone is encouraged to join in. Kids clubs (kids are also given the chance to take part in rep concerts). Close to beach and shops. Walking distance to Magaluf. Plenty of trips to go, sometimes cheaper at hotel reception rather than rep e.g. golf fantasia - some days 10%disc from reception. Pirates show is a bit pricey but worth every penny.
