Just a few words about this holiday to allow future holiday makers to decide on this hotel.
The room is cleaned every day change of towels everyday if you wish friendly staff all round but what can I say the Hotel is very dated. in the room you have a bed built in wardrobe, Bathroom has a shower always hot again very basic. Had signs of ants in bathroom but didn't bother me. Breakfast in morning again very basic Coffee and Tea machine not very nice but Hot, Orange and lemon Juice cheap stuff again not very nice. Their is a variity of rools and Pan bread butter jam marmalade . square cheese salami and spam ,muili or some type of corn flakes, fruit would be skinned peaches in a bowl and thats breakfast.
Their is a rooftop pool sometimes could be cleaned better in morning but think that was because filtration system was not switched on until about 11am some mornings. It is about a 10 to 15 minute walk down hill to Lagos centre and 4-5 euro taxi fare back if you don't want the walk.
all in all it is value for money hotel for what we paided €240 for us 9 days in sept 2008.
If you want to spoil yourself or have a bit of luxury then this one's not for you.
Would we come back ? Yes to lagos but not here unless we had to because we couldn't find better. The walk each day could be a pain. and the hotel does need refurbished. I was told that this may happen next year.
Next to the hotel is a shop with the grumpest man I have every known,he must be very unhappy,I heard a few comments from other people staying here. Also at hotel thier is a beach cafe anf resturant we would never go their again, the owner and staff are very rude. we went into cafe and bought 2 small beers after finishing we asked for the bill 15 minutes later I had to ask again and the waitress shouted across the room at me. That she was serving another customer and she could not allow food to get cold. this was after chatting with a friend of hers for 10 minutes. never again they can't need the custom ?
I hope this can be of use to any potential customers as feedback can be helpful when deciding. P.S. I was told to pay the extra for a sea view as the ground floor rooms aren't very nice and do smell. but can't be certain as didn't see them.
