This hotel is centrally placed, which is why we chose it. The location is great, but the hotel itself has many problems.

We were on the third floor, and had to haul all our luggage up with no help from the staff. The bedlinens and towels were clean, and the beds were comfortable, but the room had all sorts of problems. The tiny TV did not have any reception (someone from the staff said the reception was "not so good"!), there was a tea kettle but no cups, no hairdryer in the room or available from the hotel, and the bathroom was so small that one could barely climb into and out of the unusually high bathtub. There was hot water, but the shower curtain was filthy. The hotel does have a restaurant/leisure area in the basement, where you can watch TV and access internet for the exorbitant sum of one pound per fifteen minutes.

When we woke up the next day, we went downstairs promptly at eight for breakfast, and the restaurant was locked and dark. We ended up going across the street and having breakfast in a cafe. When we got back, the restaurant was open and we were told that they had probably not heard us. Overall, the accommodations were very poor, and not even the central location of the hotel made up for it.
