St. Patrick Hotel is the dirtiest hotel I have ever been. The rooms are infested by cockroaches which come in your room form the air shaft and through the bathroom window. It is disgusting to open the wardrobe and jump on your hand big black cockroaches. My wife was terrified with the seen and went to the reception after 15 minute that we have checked in complaining to the manager to change the room at once.
We checked in another room noticing dust on the furniture and cobwebs every where. The bathroom was molded and the bath was rusty it was impossible to stay in this room, so much so that we packed our bags and went down to the reception to check out and ask to be refunded back all what we had paid.
This was refused and wanted to charge us for one night.
After long arguments they refunded all our payments. We went to nearby hotel on a hill side of Xlendi with panoramic views of Xlendi Bay, with spacious rooms and thoroughly clean with a wonderful pool. Spent one week here enjoying every minute of our holiday. We shall return to Xlendi Bay but not to St Patrick Hotel.
