My wife and I stayed at The Subur for a 5 day break and I must admit for the price, 53 euros per night, it represented good value, given the location. However, do not expect too much. The rooms are basic and our mattresses were simply awful to sleep on. In fact, we complained and insisted they were changed. The Hotel staff don't seem to be very interested in the customers and we found them less than friendly. We didn't have breakfast at the Hotel as there are many nice places to eat very close by and they offer better value for money.
Location wise, it couldn't be better. If you like to be very close to the beach and in the hub of the town, this place could be for you. Having said that, I suspect it can be very noisy in the peak months and I would avoid it like the plague! There is a sports bar at ground level, which is part of the hotel and, if you are into Football, Basketball etc. they show live events on multi-screens in bar. The food is quite good but pricey, as are the drinks. By all means worth a try, but there are much better places all around within 5 minutes walk. Out of 10, I would give it 6
