Stayed for 2 nights on a tour. Fantastic colonial ambiance (over 100 years old - lots of wood and brass) and very large bedrooms, most with balconies. Bathrooms are a bit dated but very clean and functional. No satellite TV. Nice pool, but Kandy is a bit cooler and wetter so didn't try it out.
Location excellent - a 10 min walk to the centre of Kandy, 15 mins to the Temple of the Tooth (you can see it across the lake).
