My wife, Daughter and I stayed at the Sultan for one week this year, it was recommended to us by our travel agent, who had not been there but knew of many who had.

The apartments are very good, the pool small, but safe and secluded, and the staff okay, but there should be a few more who can speak english as both Americans and UK holidaymakers use this hotel.
It is everything it says it is in the brochure, close to the beach, town and shops, it is also far enough from the town and main road so one can get a good nights sleep.

Clean, well furnished although TV should have world news from BBC and not CNN who tend to dwell in the middle East.
If you have a car park it in the hotel's car park underneath, you will see why when you visit and walk round the resort.
Would NOT recommend the trip to Gibraltar, too little time to see all the sights there, overcrowded and expensive.

Marbella is brilliant, well kept and you would need many trips to see all, will be back. for a two week visit, same hotel next year.
One downturn is that the balconies only get the sun at the back so try for an even numbered room or better still go to the beach.
Cyprus will be a couple of visitors short next year even if the locals are more friendly, the Spanish do try to help but, english is not a language they understand.

Back next year.

Dave
