Had read good reviews from others so booked for ourselves. Made a great choice. Location is great. One street behind the beach, so a 2 minute walk to all the bars, cafe's and restraurants on the front. We went late this year due to circumstances and by comparison to last year when we came in August it was very quiet however it didnt make any difference. All the people had more time to talk when you were in their shops or bars. The people are so very friendly. The hotel was great. Nice big reception area and all the staff speak excellent English. Taz who runs the bar, and Antonio who runs the restraurant are a great team. They work hard to make every guest feel special. We ate in the hotel's restraurant on our first night and the food was very good. Our party consisted of 2 adults and a 12 year old. Our room spacious with seperate bedroom with 2 great twin beds and a large living area with 2 great bed setees. Large balcony with views out to see. Grat to sit to watch the sunset each evening. All in all, cant fault the Summer Garden Makumba Apart in any way. The best part was the price. I paid a ridiculously low sum for this great room for a week for 3. £72. Yes £72. DIY travel is an amazing place for bargains and will def be using them again.
