This place was filthy, damp. smelly & BADLY in need of renovation. I stayed in 3 rooms over 7 days as air con failed in all 3, the shower in 2 of them would not stay on the wall and i had to hold it to shower/ I cannot believe this hotel was renovated in 2004 or that it is a 3 star. 2 star is a generous rating. It was an unfortunate mistake that resulted in me staying there. I would not return to this hotel if I was paid to. To put it bluntly the place is a dump - absolutely disgusting. It ruined our holiday. The entertainment is shocking - a man with a snake and also one with a distressed looking monkey with a chain around it's neck apparently constitutes night-time entertainment. TThe pool is deep and not suitable for young children who cannot swim - and the pool is unsupervised. The food was VERY poor although the chef did try his best with the limited ingredients he had. The service was poor, staff lecherous, please consider looking elsewhere, the pictures on here make it look better than it is, there are much better places available at the same cost. I tried to move hotel, as did 5 other couples i spoke to but our rep refused (from Goldtrail), even though we all said we'd pay any amount.
